Something that I should have probably known all along but&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>In India 12 months of the year are divided in six seasons (\u090b\u0924\u0941\u090f\u0902) &#8211; Greeshma, Varsha, Sharad, Hemant ,Shishir and Basant. Their timeline on English Calendar is as follows: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u0936\u093f\u0936\u093f\u0930 (Winter) &#8211; 22nd December to 19th February<\/li>\n<li>\u092c\u0938\u0902\u0924 (Spring) &#8211; 20th February to 21st April<\/li>\n<li>\u0917\u094d\u0930\u0940\u0937\u094d\u092e (Summer) &#8211; 22nd April to 21st June<\/li>\n<li>\u0935\u0930\u094d\u0937\u093e  (Monsoon) &#8211; 22nd June to 21st August<\/li>\n<li>\u0936\u0930\u0926 (Autumn) &#8211; 22nd August to 21st October<\/li>\n<li>\u0939\u0947\u092e\u0902\u0924 (Pre-Winter) &#8211; 22nd October to 21st December<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"end-date-and-place\">7th September, 2010.
